Residential Electrical Services

Reliable electrical solutions for a safe and comfortable home.

Residential Electrical Services

Most of our work happens inside London homes: adding the circuits modern life keeps demanding, fixing the things that were never done right, and finishing what other contractors left undone. Whether you are renovating a kitchen, finishing a basement, or just chasing down a breaker that keeps tripping, every job is done by a licensed electrician and wired to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. If a project also needs an updated service, we often pair it with an electrical panel upgrade so the whole system is sized for what you actually plug in.

Often paired with panel upgrades, lighting & pot lights, and rewiring & renovations. We coordinate the whole job under a single permit when it makes sense.

FAQ

Residential Electrical: questions we hear most.

Real answers from a licensed electrician. If you don’t see yours, call us and we’ll work through it.

01Do you take small jobs like a single outlet or a flickering light?
Yes. Service calls are a regular part of our week. We give you a price up front instead of leaving an open-ended hourly clock running, and most small jobs are handled in a single visit.
02My breaker keeps tripping. Can you find the cause?
Yes. Repeat tripping is usually one of three things: an overloaded circuit, a failing breaker, or a fault somewhere on the circuit. We troubleshoot, isolate the problem, and repair it rather than just resetting the breaker.
03Can you add circuits for a basement or garage?
Yes. We add dedicated circuits, pot lights, and outlets for finished basements, garages, and workshops. If your panel is already near capacity, we will tell you whether a sub-panel or service upgrade is the cleaner option.
04Are you licensed and insured for residential work?
Yes. Legacy Electrical is a licensed electrical contractor and fully insured. Any work that requires an ESA permit is pulled and inspected so the job is properly documented for you and your insurer.
